The New Lifestyle

Hi. At this hour, both Raeef and Nawra are sleeping soundly. So, I'm taking this time to share with you my latest obsession :: Essential Oils :: Some of you might have heard about it, some might not. I came across Young Living Essential Oils last year, but I did not actually bother about it until I realize that I need one! Raeef experienced his first hospital stay at 25months old, second time fever since his birth for Influenza B+ and Mycroplasma Pneumonia. There you go, my first move of googling and searching for vitamins and home remedies started off.

So, I was introduced by a dear friend who is very fond to this product. Today, I want to share what I get from her sharing session on Lavender Essential Oil. Lavender has a fresh, sweet, floral herbacecous aroma that is soothing and refreshing. As most of us may have realized, we often notice that lavender is widely used in perfumes, shower foams, house cleaning agent and so on. It is a famous ingredient for skin and beauty products.

The properties of lavender are - antiseptic, antifungal, analgesic, anti inflamantory, and relaxing scent. It helps to reduce cholesterol, combat excess oil. This Lavender EO is not a hot oil. Hence, we can straightaway apply it on our skin (neat way). But for babies, it is advisable to always dilute Lavender EO.

Lavender EO is mostly favored for relaxing, calming, high blood pressure, respiratory infection, PMS, skin condition (eczema, psoriasis, acne), hair loss, as well as insomnia.
